Quotes from delirious?--i could sing for Your love forever:D
This may surprise ppl, but songwriting is hard work. Hours are spent pouring over notebooks, scraps of paper, napkins, Dictaphone recordings and rhyming dictionaries. Songs get thrown out, re-written, sped up, slowed down and the chorus of one swapped with the verse of another. The songwritier's life is one big sponge for all he sees and hears, and it is out of this sponge that we squeeze our songs and what we have to say. --Martin and Stu.
At some time, we will be completely unaware of the journey a song will tkae-- and that's a good thing, otherwise we would force it into something tarnished by commercialism instead of a genuine offering to God and a genuine piece of art.
Martin Smith--I could sing of Your love forever.
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the strong; He chose the lowly things of the world and the despised things- and the things that are not- to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. Simply by saying yes to God and living the life of faith means that someitmes we're out there being fools, walking a tightrope in our attempts to live in the world but not of it. Think about Peter's water walk storm, but if we don get out, will we spend our the rest of our lives wondering wad would, could or should have happened? In our journey, we must not foregt that our constant companion is the greatest King of all.
Stu G -- King of Fools
Each of us is only one small peice of the jigsaw puzzle - and we all nust get beyong ourselves to get in God's big picture. We must rememeber that we all have our sphere of influence -- we're all part of God history's making team. I'm glad this song nv goes away as it reminds us every night what we are here for. I personally have cried many tears in many nations when i have seen ppl faces in the crowd light up when they know God is cheering them on. the grt cloud of witnesses is wtaching and waiting for today is the day. Let's get bnusy changing the world
